On the Blocking - Overview page, users can determine when blocking is occurring, where blocking is occurring, and unique blocking chains.
- In the left-hand Navigation menu, locate the Database section
- Select Blocking
- Page will default onto Overview
The goal of the Overview page for blocking is to provide insight into the blocking events occurring on your system from a high-level view
Events Count
In the Events Count section, users can determine the dates, days of the week, and times of the day when blocking occurred, when anomalies of blocking occurred, and the instances, databases, and objects with the most blocking events.
Unique blocking chains are displayed in the lower section of the Blocking - Overview page.
